I got a call from the middle school principal yesterday afternoon… always a concern when you see the school number on caller ID, then answer the phone and it’s the principal. He was calling to let us know there was some upset over a game of some sort during school and Chase ended up on the wrong end of a can of Axe body spray. Another student was upset about the outcome of the game and even though it wasn’t Chase he was upset at, he was the one that got sprayed in the face with the body spray (#middleschoolboys). He was calling to let us know that Chase’s eyes got rinsed out, there was no redness or swelling and the issue had been handled. We have the most awesome principal. I am not sure how our very small school got lucky enough to land him, but he is unflappable and deals with crazy middle-school-kid antics on a daily basis with grace. Thank you Mr. Bennett.

Getting on with it! For sizing reference, I am 5’2″ and 110-ish pounds. I generally wear sizes XS or 0-2 in tops and dresses. In jeans I a wear a 25 or 26, depending on the brand. I would call myself average busted and not particularly curvy in any one area. If you have questions about sizing/fit of any particular piece just let me know!

Weekend Plans
I have been so looking forward to the weekend, mainly because we are forecasted to have some amazing weather. Not super warm (no shorts will be popping up on my Instagram feed), but warmer than what we have been having and sunshine. I’m hoping that we get really lucky and don’t have any wind (It’s pretty much ALWAYS windy here).
We have an Open House viewing today for our upcoming online livestock sales. We will have people coming in from all over the Midwest and even the West Coast to view the offering. It is always fun to catch up with #ourpeople and work with today’s youth/tomorrow’s leaders in choosing their next project animal.
Tonight we will be attending the Trivia Night that I had made the gift basket for featured in this post. My kids are upset that they do not get to attend with us since only ’21 and over’ are allowed. I would enjoy their company as much as anyone’s, but will enjoy a ‘grown up night’ too.
To make it up to them we will be hitting up our local hibachi Japanese grill and taking them to see Game Night on Sunday evening, along with several of our crew that have been putting in long hours to get ready for the open house. Should be a fun weekend!
