As you are reading this I am likely boarding a plane to Houston for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We have several families that will be showing wether goats they purchased from our operation at the show and we are attending to help the families at the show. While there I will manage to squeeze in some shopping time too. There are hundreds of vendors selling a plethora of things at the show – from livestock equipment to boots to some fabulous boutique shops with some great finds. Hopefully we will also be blessed with some sunshine and warm temperatures while we are there too (#fingerscrossed).
Anyways, back to this week’s Instagram looks…
Stripes, I love stripes. They make me happy. I don’t think you can go wrong wearing stripes. This navy striped top paired with these aqua/teal colored shorts is really a classy combo.
There are so many details in this outfit that would be good as the focal point with ‘quieter’ complementary pieces, but they pull together well too. The texture of the lace top, the belle sleeve, the ripped denim and then those shoes. I’m loving those shoes.
I’ve been drawn to denim jacket looks this week. I have bought a couple denim jackets, but have yet to find ‘the one.’ You know, the one that isn’t too baggy, isn’t too stiff and is the right shade. If you have recommendations I am all ears!
Rachel from Pinteresting Plans was one of my featured Instagrammers from last week so I wasn’t planning on featuring her again, but this outfit combo is just too good. And I’m not the only one that thinks so; Rachel said it was her most popular post from last year.
Ok, this one is a little out there for me. I don’t see myself being able to pull this look off. However, I couldn’t deny how much it caught my attention and how great it looks on her!
