Yay, it’s Friday! We made it through another week and I’m bringing you another week’s Shop My Closet post. The warmer weather this past couple of days has really got me in good spirits and looking forward to the months to come.
Looking Forward To…
Our kids show livestock and spring/summer is show season. We have shown meat goats for several years, branched out to showing sheep last year and this year we are adding cattle and pigs to our show string. It’s going to be a busy summer!
We have set our wether goats aside from those we are selling, have had the cattle since fall and have sheep and pigs making their way to the show barn in the coming week. Our kids are excited about the new projects and the experiences to be had. Raising our children in this realm is teaching them invaluable life lessons that are unmatched by any other youth activity.
We spent several days this week picturing our last set of sale wethers and does so we were in the barn every day. I have a set of ‘barn clothes’ that I set aside and rewear several days since they are going to smell like a barn and be ‘barn dirty’ immediately. No point in making more laundry for myself.
It wasn’t until the afternoon that we would finish up and I was able to clean up and ‘get ready’ for the rest of the day. I have a hard time being productive if I don’t get myself ready though, even if it is just for a few hours.

Without further ado, the weekly roundup. For sizing reference, I am 5’2″ and 105-ish pounds. I generally wear sizes XS or 0-2 in tops and dresses. In jeans I a wear a 25 or 26, depending on the brand. I would call myself average busted and not particularly curvy in any one area. If you have questions about sizing/fit of any particular piece just let me know!
Crazy story here guys – this sweater existed on Target’s website a few hours ago, but is gone now. I searched it earlier today and found it, but when I just went back to copy the link for you guys it was gone! These Express jeggings fit well and hold their shape and the sandals are the perfect heel height to be able to wear them all day.

This sweater is a mens small. I am addicted to stripes and fell for this cutie as soon as I saw it, didn’t make a difference to me that it was for men. I did try it on, worrying that it would fit too baggy/boxy, but it works for me! As for the leggings, best investment you will make! They are thick enough to hide what you want to hide, high enough to add tummy control and never stretch out. They are amazing!

This sweater sat in my closet for a couple years before it started seeing much use, but I am loving it now. I couldn’t find this exact one, but found one that I think is near identical for you. This Loft cami is one of my new favorites and is on sale currently. I am wearing the XS Petite. If I had ordered a regular length it would work well with leggings. Even in the petite I think it is close.

I am a huge fan of shirt dresses, could live in them (weather permitting). This one was from a couple of seasons ago and I was not able to find this exact one, but found a very similar one that is a great price! The tennis shoes gives the outfit a relaxed, easy vibe. The color is an off white, which I love, with rose gold accents. Match made in heaven!
Shirt Dress (Only $19!!) // Nike Flex
Last up is my favorite for the week. Pairing these two colors that are both considered neutrals is very pleasing to the eye. I just recently got this peplum utility jacket when it went on sale and I am really glad I did. I see a ton of options for styling it. Then there are the pink pants. They are the prettiest shade of pink. Almost gray, super dusty pink. And a great price for quality denim!

I did this leg workout on Wednesday… I am a SORE baby! I knew it was going to make my hamstrings sore, but my quads and my glutes are sore too. One of those ‘oh-my-gosh-it-hurts-to-sit-on-the-toilet’ kinds of sore. Just thought I would share that with you! Do you have any go-to workouts that you know will make you sore?
I’m hitting Target today on recon for decking out a she-space that I am scheming. Hoping for good finds, but that is generally not an issue at Target! I may have to browse through the clothes section and do a try-on session while I am there too. I saw a super cute romper on Instagram a few days ago. Fingers crossed my local Target has it. Sounds like a good Friday, doesn’t it?
