We all find those go-to closet staples that we wear again and again, right? Today I’m sharing with you a few that have risen to the top for me, as well as my baby girl.

Light-Weight Sweater
This lightweight white sweater is from Target (#favoriteplacetoshop). It hasn’t been in my closet long, but I’m loving it. It goes with anything, isn’t bulky so doesn’t leave you feeling bound when you put your coat on and it will transition into spring well. I can see pairing it with pale pink jeggings or even shorts once the weather starts to warm up.
AG The Legging Super Skinny
These jeans are some of my favorites. I received them in a Trunk Club box over two years ago. I honestly didn’t even want to try them on because this brand of jeans generally costs more than what I am willing to spend on denim. But then I tried them on and fell in love. Two years later and they have not faded, still fit as good as the first time I put them on and the best part – they do not stretch out and start to sag throughout the day (even after several wears between washes). These are not a true black, but a faded black/dark gray.
If you are interested in giving them a try without the investment I recommend checking out Poshmark to see if you can find any available in your size. I have used Poshmark on several occasions to try out new brands or styles that I was on the fence about and not willing to make a larger investment for until I was sure it was something that worked for me.
Over-The-Knee Boots
I find that I have to talk myself out of wearing these over-the-knee boots too often! They are super comfortable and make your legs look super long – quite an accomplishment for someone of my stature! They stay in place throughout the day too, which can be an issue with a lot of over-the-knee boots. If you have been on the fence about adding a pair of these to your wardrobe I can’t say enough good things about this pair. I try to like the pointy toed shoes and boots; I do think they look great on other people, but I have a hard time liking them on myself. These have a square-ish toe. They are a good price too!
The Mini
Kadie dressed in some of her go-to favorites as well so I nabbed her for a few pictures. She is in that tween age and is just starting to put some thought into what she wears – on some days. Other days its sweats and a school sports t-shirt. This has become one of her go-to outfits on the good days. It’s still comfy and cozy, but cute too.
