I love the new rule that says the old rule of ‘no white jeans after Labor Day’ is obsolete. A crisp, well-fitting pair of white jeans elevates the look of most anything they are paired with. I will admit, finding that great pair of white jeans can be a challenge. I recently read this post from Erin at Living In Yellow where she reviewed ten different pairs of white jeans, scoring them on sheerness, stretchiness, overall fit and quality. It’s a great post that does a good job of illustrating the differences in white jeans. Each person is different and what looks great on one person may be terrible on the next. Don’t give up if you try a pair or two and think white jeans just aren’t for you. Pairing white jeans with neutral tones provides a fresh, soothing palate. Tans, creams, grays and blush tones all look great with white. If it is still too cold for these types a shoes a cute bootie like these would look great too.

I’m loving this combo and think it works for both fall and spring. The richness of the cognac boots and purse warm up the cool tone of the white jeans, but it is the white jeans that really make this look pop.

Again, neutrals are great to pair with white. This sweet sweater has a boat neck front and an open V back that is super cute. I paired it with a lace bralette. White jeans with black is another great winter combo.
