It’s Thursday already, this week has really blown by. This whole year is blowing by, too fast even. There are six weeks of school left. Six weeks! I love summertime and having my babes home, but that means that T will officially be a senior and the thought of that, of how she will be going off to college in what I know will be a blink of an eye, truly brings tears to my eyes. She took the SAT yesterday and is starting to figure out where she will be going for college in the fall of 2019. #justonemoreyear
My little Bird had her first track meet yesterday. It was cold and balmy, but she was excited to say the least. And so I was excited for her and not as grudging about having to freeze to support her. Have I told you how much I hate being cold?? She ran the 400, the 1600 and did high jump. We live in a rural area where the school is quite small so 5th graders are allowed to participate in most sports. Great for getting them experience, but possibly discouraging when they are competing against 7th and 8th graders. She did great though. The 1600 was her strong suit where she finished 8th out of 19 with a 6:55 mile time. #waytogobaby

Do you guys love Instagram as much as I do? It is terribly addicting. How many times a day do you jump on to see what’s happening? There is so much inspiration to be found! From fashion to lifestyle to fitness to food… the list goes on. I know there are haters out there that are trolling for opportunities to try to knock someone down, but there are way more people that are uplifting and encouraging to one another. Following is this week’s roundup of my favorite looks. The brighter colors, which I don’t normally wear, seem to be speaking to me. I blame it on the delay of spring here in central Illinois. I am craving sunshine and vitamin D!

Is this acceptable? This post is from a boutique that is selling these moto leggings. I actually went searching for moto legging images since that is something I have been crushing on lately and this was the best picture I found. What do you think of moto leggings? I’m liking the color of these for spring. I personally would prefer them without the zippers at the ankle.
I love this top!! Isn’t it darling?? I love how she paired it with the white jeans and white earrings to really make the white detail on the top pop.
These pants, aren’t they great?! Totally out of my wheel house in terms of the color, but they look great on Dede. They look like they would be comfortable to wear for a travel day even.
