Happy Friday Guys! I hope you had a great week. My week flew by again. We pictured wether and doe kids for next week’s online sale and pictured new litters of kittens. Pretty exciting stuff, right?!
I did work with my contractor on the limewashing for the cultured stone on the house. That is actually very exciting for me. It definitely has a learning curve, but I think it is going to look amazing and I am super excited about it!! The roof is 3/4 of the way finished and is looking great. The painter has been here to at least look at the job. His portion is actually very small, so hopefully he can get here and knock it out in just a couple of days. I’m working with a garage door supplier on new garage doors… that is more costly than I had realized! And we have decided to add shutters to the front of the house since there will not be as much color contrast once all the stone is limewashed.
I also took my contractor into the house Dale grew up in and discussed adding a front deck and changing up the look of the front stoop. Another project I’m super excited to tackle and share with you all!

Ok, for reference I am 5’2″ and weigh about 105 pounds. I wear an XS/0-2 and size 25-26 in jeans, depending on the brand. I am average busted and not particularly curvy in any area.
These are currently my favorite pair of jeans. They are JustBlack brand, which fits me great. I have several pairs and I love them all, but this pair is the perfect length and the perfect amount of distressing. I especially love the distressing at the ankles. I was sent these in one of my DailyLook boxes. They are a size 24, which I was nervous wouldn’t fit, but they are perfect. So if you are thinking about getting yourself a pair I recommend sizing down one size. I wasn’t able to find this top with the black stripes, but it is still available with red and blue stripes.

The button-back detail on this top is super cute. The material is lightweight and it drapes nicely. And it’s on sale for only $16! I love the length of these white shorts and the distressing is just the right amount for me. These cutie tassel earrings are only $15 and are lots of fun and the Sperry slip-on sneakers and a navy blue, although they look black in these photos.

This is the second Caslon peplum tee that I have added to my closet. They drape well and are versatile – dress them up or down. My 16 year old daughter has this top as well and wears it all the time. I paired it with another pair of JustBlack skinny jeans and Sperry boat shoes to attend a livestock show.

This button-down plaid top is light weight and super soft. This exact top is sold out but I have linked a similar one. Working from home I often sit at my desk and freeze so I wear jeans more than I would like to admit in the summer. This pair has the perfect amount of stretch and hold their shape well.

Have I told you how great these Madewell tanks are? Really fantastic! I have it in three colors, plus the tee version in stripes. The V is the perfect depth and width. I love the pocket detail too. Part way through the day I had to do some work outside so I changed into jeans and sneaks. This is my husband’s favorite look. He loves these particular jeans, but I get more compliments from him when I am wearing jeans, a simple tee and sneaks than any other outfit. Go figure! I’m glad he is easy to please.
