Hi Guys and Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We spent Saturday at Illinois Beef Expo where our girls showed their Angus steers. The weather was terrible – rainy and cold, but the company was top notch. There is no greater crowd than the stock show crowd. Today I’m sharing my February Wantable Box with you. I would consider it another successful box.
In case you are new to subscription boxes I’ll give you a brief rundown. Wantable sends a box at the frequency you choose, based off of the style profile that you filled out, with seven items they think you would like. You try it all on in the comfort of your home, keep what you like and return what you don’t in the included return mailer. If you return all of the items you are charged a $20 styling fee, but if you keep any of the items the fee is waived.
In My Wantable Box
In this Wantable box I was sent two pairs of jeans, two sweaters, one button down top, one long sleeve top and one babydoll top.
First up is the Vigoss Marley Mid Rise skinny jeans paired with the Beach Lunch Lounge button down top. Like the Vigoss jeans in my last box I really like these. They are not distressed, but have a slanted deconstructed hem that adds interest. I’ve already wore them several times and they have yet to stretch out. The top is a nice top with the lattice trim the adds interest. I already have a couple white button downs in my closet so I returned this one.
I threw this Kut from the Kloth chunky knit sweater overtop of the white button down and really like the preppy look the combo pulls together. This is a pretty taupe-ish color. It is called camel, but I would not consider it rusty/orange enough to be camel. I found on the Kut from the Kloth website that they have this in multiple colors. I really wanted to keep this sweater, but at the $88 price point I was worried that it was going to snag easily and get relegated to the back of my closet so I chose to return it.
I tried it by itself too…
And then I put it overtop of the black long sleeve tee…
And here is the black breezy rib long sleeve tee by itself, since it was part of my box. It’s a run of the mill black tee. Not bad, but nothing special. I returned this top.
Next up is this short sleeve babydoll tee, which I happened to fall in love with. It is the buttery soft material that sold me completely on it. I actually have a gray babydoll top in my closet already, but I figure that one can get passed on to my daughter and be replaced with this one! It’s a great length and has a great drape.
The second pair of jeans I received are from Articles of Society. I own a couple pair of these jeans and I have to admit that they are some of my least favorite. I feel that they stretch out and get saggy quickly (like within a couple of hours). I’m sure they are great for some people and I know they don’t stretch out too bad if I wear a belt with them from the start. I also did not like the wash of this particular pair and thought they were some of the less flattering jeans I have tried on. They were returned.
Last is this Mock Neck Pullover from Z Supply. This top is SUPER SOFT and the color is so pretty. I was a little unsure of how to style the mock neck. Between that, the length and the oversized sleeves/cuffs I felt it was just a little too casual for my taste so I returned this top.
Like my last box I was overall very happy with the contents of my Wantable box. Have you tried a subscription clothing box? If you want to see what I was sent in last month’s Wantable box you can see that HERE.
