Hi Guys! I have a quick post today, sharing with you this dressy tone on tone look I put together for a school banquet last week. The basic of this look is the blush pink sheath dress I picked up from Lulu’s a couple of years ago. I just checked it out and they still carry this dress, yay!
Blush Pink Sheath Dress
It’s a great dress that can be taken a lot of different directions. It can be dressed down with a jean jacket and a pair of converse, worn by itself, have a traditional cardigan thrown over it, would be cute with a pair of over-the-knee boots and finally dressed up like today with a duster cardigan and a pair of heels. I’m thinking that I need to put all of these looks together for a future blog post…
Knit Longline Cardigan
I found this longline cardigan at Nordstrom Rack in San Antonio a few weeks ago. I was on the fence as to whether or not to buy it, as I am not completely sure that I am on board with the duster length cardigan trend. However, for the great price I went for it and am so glad that I did. It is the perfect dusty pink color and the perfect weight – not too heavy or at all bulky. It was $25, but online it’s marked down to under $15! I’ve already worn it twice, so am well on my way to getting my money’s worth out of it.
The Details
To finish the look off I chose these chic pointy toed pumps. I really love these pumps. The heel height is perfect to be able to wear them all day and the femininity that they add to any look is so good! I wasn’t able to find this exact pair, but I have linked a few options that are really similar.
The necklace I chose also pulls this look together, sticking with the monochromatic or tone on tone theme. I’ve tried to find this necklace online to link for you guys, but haven’t been able to. It is from Target and I have seen it in my local store recently, but have not been able to find it on the website, sorry.
I hope you are having a great week! If you are like me and can’t get enough of the soft and blush pinks you might enjoy my February Tablescape post. Until next time, ciao!
You are so beautiful, Holly!❤
