DailyLook subscription box

Hey Guys!  I have a super fun DAILY LOOK review to share with you today.  In case you are new to it, DAILY LOOK is a clothing subscription program.  After filling out a profile to educate your stylist about you and your tastes a monthly box of about 6-9 items will start being sent your way.  You try on the items in the comfort of your own home, decide what you like and send the rest back.  They make it super easy by including a return bag (or you can reuse the box the items came in) with a return label.  Checkout is also a breeze, either with their DL phone app or on your desktop.  If you didn’t like anything you received and opted to send everything back you would be charged a $25 styling fee.  However, if you keep just one item that fee is waived.  I have always found at least one item that I like!

DAILY LOOK is stepping up their game!!  Part of the fun of receiving these boxes is the feeling of being a little spoiled and a little surprised.  This month the normal black DL box that the items ships in housed another, fancier gift box with the clothing items inside.  It was like receiving an unexpected gift!  Way to go DAILY LOOK!

What Was In My DAILY LOOK Box

First up is this Diane Ribbed Knit Easy Dress in Olive, $69. It has a sporty racerback-ish neckline and is the perfect length for my petite frame – not too short, not too long.  The material is soft and the fit flattering.  I paired it with the KORYE Unexpected Waterfall Cardigan, $89, that was also included in my box.  The colors pair well together and it transforms this summer dress into a multi-season dress.  It would be cute with brown booties in the fall.

I really like both of these items, but opted to return them.  I actually went as far as putting the cardigan on a hanger and almost hanging it up in my closet.  It was at that point when it became apparent to me that I was placing it between two other taupe colored cardigans that it matched very closely.

Next is this DL Kaitlyn S/L Ruffle Top, $62.  Isn’t it a pretty blush tone?  It was the first item I gravitated to when I first opened the box.  I’m a sucker for the color, as well as fabrics that drape the way this does.  Paired with this top are these Just Black Daria Knee Slit Cropped Skinny Jeans, $88, in dark denim wash.  When I held these up, my husband said “What are those!? Are they for Kadie? There is no way you will get those on!!”  They have a lot of stretch to them.  They went on easily.  Just Black is one of my favorite brands of jeans.  They fit similar to AG, but for half the price.

Again, I like both of these items.  I used to stay away from tops like this because I dislike strapless bras.  Since discovering the new silicon backless/strapless bras though I don’t have to avoid these types of tops.  I opted to return this top though because it was a little big for me through the middle.  The jeans I would have loved to keep, but my jeans drawers are currently busting at the seams!

These Hidden Jeans Distressed Straight Jeans, $128, were not for me.  They run really big.  I was sent a 24 and they were still really big.  I recently bought a similar style so was hoping that I would like these too, but they were not flattering on my frame.  I do like the distressing and think that they would look good on someone bigger than myself.

This Lumiere Cotton Striped T-Shirt Dress, $38, is fantastic.  I am a sucker for stripes.  This dress is a good heavy weight of material, doesn’t stretch out of lose shape and it has POCKETS!  How great is that?! I think it is just darling.  Paired with the jean jacket you don’t see it, but on its own it fit too wide for me, so I had to return it.  But I was sad to do so!

I am often on the search for shorts that are not TOO short.  I like the length of these Just Black Marina Frayed Hem Shorts, $64.99.  And, of course, I love the brand.  These are soft and flexible, but hold their shape and will not stretch out throughout the day.  I was not fond of the color though.  It was not light, but not dark.  Almost a brighter blue??  I opted to return them.  I think I talked myself out of the color because I have recently added several pairs of cutoff denim shorts to my wardrobe.

Paired with the shorts is the BB Dakota Ruffle Cold Shoulder Strap Top, $65.  It is made of a nice drapey material and is a pretty color.  I am not a fan of cold shoulder tops though so I returned it.

The GorJana Taner Bar Small Necklace, $60, was also from my DL box.  The bar has a hammered finish, which I am currently obsessed with.  This was my favorite item in this box and I absolutely kept it. I see getting a lot of wear out of this piece through the spring and summer months.

Well, that’s it for this box.  What do you think?  What was your favorite item?  My last DAILY LOOK review can be found here.
