Another Stitch Fix Review, possibly the best box I have received from Stitch Fix!
How It Works
A quick recap on how it works in case you are new on the scene: When you subscribe to Stitch Fix you go through a set of questions where you provide your sizes/measurements for fit, select sets of clothing style boards to give the stylists guidance on your tastes and select how often you would like to receive a box. You will receive five items to try on at home, decide what you like and send back the rest in the prepaid envelope. If you send everything back you will be charged a $20 styling fee, which includes shipping both ways. If you keep anything the $20 styling fee is subtracted from your total. It’s a fun pick me up to receive a box of goodies to try out on occasion!
April Stitch Fix Review
Let’s get started! First up is this Vince Camuto Kayden Ruffle Sleeve Cotton Top, $48. It’s a pretty mint-ish green. I would call it more of a gray-green than what I consider ‘mint’ to be, but they call it mint. The bottom trim and ruffle sleeves are both made of a sheer fabric. I like this top, but don’t see myself wearing it enough to keep it.
These Just Black, Valen Distressed Wide Cuff Straight Leg Jeans, $88, were also in my box. I love Just Black jeans. They fit my body type great and wear really well. I’m not so sure about this pair though. The color is a little ‘mom-ish’ for me?? Does that make any sense? I returned them.
This 41 Hawthorn Clearwater Mixed Material Blouse, $58, has a really nice drape to it. I am all about how a top drapes. However, I am not a fan of how the neckline/cutout is so I returned this top.
I’m still wearing the Just Black jeans as well, with flats instead of heels.
Here I’ve added the Skies are Blue Raja Knit Collarless Blazer, $78. This blazer is a little longer than I prefer, but this length is on trend. I do really like the neckline, the ruched sleeves and the stretch in the blazer that keeps it from being too restrictive. I know I wouldn’t wear this enough to get my money’s worth of out this blazer so I returned it.
This last top is my favorite. The Calvin Klein Emporia Bell Sleeve Cotton Top, $88, is adorable. I love the crispness of the color, love the plaid, love how it drapes/fits, like the bell sleeve trend… but don’t like the mass in these particular bell sleeves. There is a lot of extra material in these sleeves that make them a bit bulky. If I squished them down to make them lay nicer they were ok, but then when I moved my arms they puffed up again. If this top were half the price I would have kept it and hoped that I would wear it anyways and deal with the bulk in the sleeves, but that that price I decided to return it.
I think it was cute both tucked and untucked.
What did you think about the items in this box? Were there any items that you would have kept? If you liked this review you can see my previous Stitch Fix Review HERE.
Holly I am so happy for you, you do an amazing job on your blog😘
