Hi Guys! Sorry for being MIA the last couple of days. We made that whirlwind trip to Texas in search of genetic pieces for our livestock operation and my recent ‘manage by crisis’ style of getting through the day meant that I did not have any posts done ahead of time to keep you enlightened. Today I’m straying from my usual Friday ‘Shop My Closet’ post to share with you this darling jumpsuit from Target that I wore earlier this week and received TONS of compliments on. Everywhere I went that day I received compliments. Combine that with the fact that it is only $30 and I would call that a solid win!

One of the things that is great about this jumpsuit is the way the smocking at the waist allows you to adjust the length. I am short and almost didn’t even try this jumpsuit on because when I held it up it seemed way too long. However, between a pair or wedges and pulling the smocked waist up to hit higher on me, more like an empire waist, rather than at my natural waist I am able to pull off the length.
Are you wondering about the bra situation? I used to worry about that all the time when I would see something strapless, but not anymore. Since the creation of the strapless, backless silicon bra I am worry free. They stay in place all day and are very comfortable to wear. I have one from Victoria’s Secret and one from Target and like them both equally. The store associate at Victoria’s Secret did tell me to size up one size to ensure full coverage, starting with the outside edge starting where your chest meets your ribcage.
