Another month has gone by and I have a new DAILY LOOK box review to share with you today.  In case you are new to it, DAILY LOOK is a clothing subscription program. After filling out a profile to educate your stylist about you and your tastes a monthly box of about 6-9 items will start being sent your way. You try on the items in the comfort of your own home, decide what you like and send the rest back. They make it super easy by including a return bag (or you can reuse the box the items came in) with a return label. Checkout is also a breeze, either with their DL phone app or on your desktop. If you didn’t like anything you received and opted to send everything back you would be charged a $25 styling fee. However, if you keep just one item that fee is waived. I have always found at least one item that I like!

In My April DAILY LOOK Box

I received eight items in my box this month: 4 tops, 2 dresses, 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of pants.  I’ll start with the dresses.

First up is this Sasha Satin Slip Dress, $58.  This dress has a double lined bodice area and a beautiful lower cut back.  I love open back dresses.  I chose to layer this beautiful lace bralette underneath of it and style it in a more casual manner with these converse sneakers.  It would be cute with nude sandals and a light cardigan too.  I did decide to return this dress because I felt it was cut a little too wide/had a little more fabric or bulk that ideal for my frame.

Next is this SL Katie Crossover Knit Dress, $79 (sold out).  It is a tight fitting dress with a second looser layer over the top half.  I didn’t think this dress looked bad, but tight fitting dresses are not something I am comfortable wearing so I returned this dress.  I did think it was really cute with the denim jacket paired with it and it made me second guess returning the dress.

This Sadie & Sage SL Ribbed Turtleneck, $58, is a very pretty dark green and it is very soft.  It would be a great transition piece as the weather warms up.  I’m not one for turtlenecks so I opted to return it.  It also cut in quite far on the shoulders so either a strapless or a crisscross bra is required.

Also in these pictures are the Just Black Laguna Midrise Cuffed Shorts, $48 (sold out).  They are a great length and the midrise sits at a great level on the hips.  They are very comfortable.  I have recently added several pairs of denim shorts to my wardbrobe so I decided to return these, but I did really like them.

This Sidney Crisscross Knit Top, $54, is very soft and cozy.  I chose to style it over top of a cami.  It is flattering from the front, but a little bit longer and baggier from the back.  This is another piece that would be great for transitioning into warmer weather.  I chose to return this top because of the bagginess of the back.

Kelly & Katie Oxfords

I fell in love with this LS Ayla Striped Button Down Top, $69, as soon as I opened the box.  It is a linen blend material and has the most beautiful, classy drape to it.  I styled it with these white shorts, but think it would be adorable with boyfriend jeans too.  I kept this top and foresee it being on repeat this spring.

Both this LS Blake V-Neck Tencel Top, $79, and these J Brand 835 Midrise Crop Skinny jeans, $178, were in my box as well.  I wasn’t sure about the color/texture of the fabric in this top when I first opened my box, but it really grew on me as soon as I tried it on.  Like the last top it has such a classy vibe and a perfect drape.  I kept this top.  These jeans are super cute from the knee up and fit great.  However, they are loose through the calf and lower leg, which I thought was odd.  Also, for reference, this brand must run big.  I typically wear a 25 or 26, but was sent a 24 that fit well.  These pants are a little bit see through as well – you could see where the fabric was doubled in the pocket areas.  For this price I would want these to be my most favorite jeans ever and there were too many small issues for that to be the case so I returned them.  FYI though, they were my husband’s choice of what to keep from the box.

The last item I received was this Long Sleeve Zip Front Off Shoulder Top, $68.  It is a deep navy blue and has ribbing in the material.  I unzipped it to put it on – bad idea!  It is too form-fitting to get it zipped by yourself.  It was more flattering on than what I had thought it wold be out of the box.  However, like the tight fitting dress, I am not comfortable wearing tight fitting clothes so I opted to return this top.

All in all my stylist did a great job of sending me a box of great transitional spring pieces.  With each additional box my stylist is more able to hone in on my likes and dislikes based on the feedback that I supply her.  I am excited to incorporate my two “KEEP” tops into my wardrobe and to see how many different looks I can put together with each of them.  If you enjoyed this review you can see other Daily Look reviews HERE and HERE.
