Over Memorial Day weekend I made a bit of a trek to a new-to-me outdoor shopping center. It was BIG, there were tons of good stores and it was well laid out/a nice setting. As much as I enjoyed browsing and trying things on I might enjoy online shopping as much or more!! Having a ‘girls day’ made it a great day, but if it weren’t for that I would have been as happy to save the three hours of drive time and done the shopping from the comfort of home.
Thanks to social media and all of the great bloggers out there it is easier than ever to find things you like and purchase with confidence after seeing something on a ‘real’ person (or two or three or four). The shipping time seems to be less and less all the time with online shopping and many times it is free, hurray! Today I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite places to shop online and a few items from each that I have either been eyeing or have recently added to my closet.
Nordstrom
I’ve only stepped foot into a Nordstrom store once and it was honestly a bit overwhelming/intimidating. However, I don’t get this overwhelmed feeling when I shop online. In the store it’s easy to grab something ‘cute’ to find it has a several hundred dollar price tag. When shopping online you can set filters so those items you wouldn’t be interested in are not displayed. And then once you click on something that interests you and the ‘similar suggestions’ pops up you can really get lost down the rabbit hole! They just have too much good stuff that caters to such a wide range of tastes and trends.

J Crew/J Crew Factory
The more classic, preppy style of this store is my jam. It seems to be able to tweak those classic looks enough to be on-trend without being too far out there for my comfort zone. I also love the deals that are often available at any given time. Pretty much every time I go to their websites I am going to find something that is too good of a deal to pass up. All five of these pieces are $30 or less!

Loft
Another one with pretty down-the-middle style that suits my tastes well. I am not an out-there, on the edge kind of gal when it comes to style. I’m more of the classics, never-goes-out-of-style gal. I also appreciate that they offer a wide selection of petite sizes and options. Good quality at a reasonable price.
